Pregnant animals and yogurt

So, My cat Is pregnant (so you guys know) We called the vets office to see what to give her to help produce milk, goive her the right vitamins and energy (since she’s had so many litters. :/ Poor girl) And they said Strawberry Banana Yogurt. . . How does that help?

I’ve been doing it, and she’s eating it in like .5 seconds. ._.; I think She’s in pre labor..

any way.. Don’t tell me I need to spay her. O know I need to. I don’t have the money right At this moment.

Answer #1

Cats are actually lactose intolerant, meaning that cows milk will make them sick. So yoghurt might not be the very best idea.

Go to your local pet shop and they should have specific foods and supplements that you can add to your cats food to make sure she is getting enough nutrients for herself and her kittens.

Answer #2

I don’t know about the yogurt thing but some shelters will spay cats for free, so you might want to check around if that’s what you want to do.

Answer #3

I have never heard this one…Plain yogurt, maybe…but banana?? Make sure she’s on HIGH QUALITY cat food, and that she has all that she needs to eat…

Can’t help it…there are spay and neuter clinics…the cost is $15 to $25 for a spay…they might even cut the price, considering your cat is a high producer…call the ASPCA and find out.
