Who do you prefer out of the "Big 4" of thrash metal: Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, or Anthrax?

I like all 4 bands, but I want to know to see if what you think. METAL FANS ONLY.

Just in case u ask me:

  1. Metallica (Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are absolutely awesome albums. It really shows thrash metal at it’s best in the 80s).
  2. Slayer (Reign In Blood is amazing. They are absolutely thrashy, but I think they went a little of the game a bit in the 90s, although I like World Painted Blood).
  3. Megadeth (Although they are third, Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? and Rust In Peace are classics to me).
  4. Anthrax (I only have Among the Living, which I like, but I think I should get more of Anthrax).

THESE FOUR BANDS ARE SO FUKIN AWESOME!

they all blow… umm slayer i guess but only because my friend likes them and they are okayish

slayer are a good band umaroth you should listen to them. especially reign in blood.

Well if I had to listen to it all day, I’d go with metallica just because I’d know some of their songs and I’ve met them before (years ago) and they were actually pretty nice guys.

I’d pick Metalica because of their high level of musicianship. Ride the Lightening is one of the best metal albums ever. What do you think of Pantera?
