What's the point of pressing a flower ?

So that you can keep it forever and it looks nice? Idk, what’s the point of wearing underwear? Why does there have to be a point lol.

Some people do it if the flower is of some importance to them for remembering someone, something, or just a good memory. Like when my great grandma past away my grandma (her daughter) took a flower from the arrangement at her funeral & pressed it in her bible:)

Just another form of artistic expression… you just reminded me, about 4 years ago i stuck about 40 flowers in a huge phone book to make them flat, with amazing ideas in my head, of framing them and giving them away as inexpensive little gifts. Then my husband found the phone book, picked it up, saw all these “things” drop out, and he left them all over the floor. The cats decided to play with them and they’re in pretty bad shape now.. sigh.

usually kids do this memories which last for life long when you see a kid doing this you feel for your self “I too have done it in my child hood”
