Can music make plants grow?

Answer #1

Dear miriam, I have always heard it does. They had done extensive studies on it and the music that is most productive was classical. I think every living thing responds in some way to vibrations. Sue

Answer #2

I think that everything and everyone reacts differently to vibration which music prosuces

Answer #3

It can. They did an episode of Mythbusters on it, actually. If I recall, the sound in general helped stimulate growth, and they found some odd results. In their tests, recordings of heavy metal and hardcore death metal worked better than classical music, and audio recordings of louder, harsher voices seemed to do more than softer, more reassuring voice. I suppose that it implies that more sound vibrations is better to an extent.
