Looks like it might be a carnivorous (insect eating) "Sundew" plant. They normally live on boggy ground, and there are several different varieties/species of sundew plant that live in the New Forest (Southern England UK).
They have sticky pads that trap insects that have been attracted by the smell of the plant.
The plant then digests the insects to absorb the nutrients that are depleted in the boggy ground that they have evolved to grow and reproduce in.
