The jungles of South America outside Panama on survival training in the military.
Mosquitos the size of dogs. Spiders as big as your head. Snakes dropping from trees. Strange "itching" all over your body caused by things you can't see.
Hotter than blue blazes. Humidity off the scale. Until it rained which was daily about 3:30pm, ahh relief, then twice as hot until sundown.
The food? I wont even go there. Sleep? Forget it.
That's the worst place I've been, and am so VERY glad I went there. Very glad. Does that make sense?
Wait, I have been to worse places where I seen people suffering and in a terrible way. I won't describe it here, but it's far worse than what I went through. We must always count our blessings.
