Pierced ears

Ok, so when I turned 12 last year I got my ear pierced 3 more times. A double pierce, a third one, and a cartlidge one on top. When I went to clairs to get the cartlidge piercing the lady said that I had to be 13 years or older to get that because my cartlidge isn’t fully grown yet and will screw up my ear and make it deformed. But when I got it pierced for free at wallmart the person didn’t say anything about that and pierced it anyways. But my ear turned out perfectly fine. Do you know why the clairs lady said that? Could that possibly happen? Or did my ears just get lucky? Please answer!

well you didnt get any of them profesionally done people at a salon or the mall are not profesional peircers especially if they use that disgusting gun thats full of other peoples germs because they dont sterilize it profesional means with a surgical steel needle, and by an expert who can peirce in a way, yes its not advised to peirce your cartlidge untill its fully grow otherwise it will end up ina different spot and probably be a lot more closer to the edge of your ear when you grow a bit older

yeah you got it done at claires and walmart… it’s like going to a homeless guy to get your dog fixed. they don’t have any professional training, and don’t know the risks of piercing certain ways and certain areas of your body. I mean one day they go in to work and someone says “here’s the ear piercing gun, you load it like this, and press this button” and that’s the end of their training.

a professional piercer “like in a tattoo shop” has been studying as an apprentice for anywhere from like 2 weeks to their whole life, and knows where major nerve endings are, they open brand new clean needles for every person and know what size needle to use, and they even tell you how to take care of it afterwards.

so basically I’m saying that at both places you went to, the probably didn’t know what they were talking about. Maybe the claires person knew a little more, cause she at least warned you that maybe it was too early.

mmm my ears are pierced like that two && I got them when I was about your age so I think it depends I guess.
