Neither, they both have too predatory instincts. I was always a fan of Diane Fossey and her dedication to the gentle giant, the mountain gorilla. I think that would be my choice.

lions are always fighting to see who gets to be the dominant male, tigers just chill and are not as competitive with one another so if they were to get in a fight the lion would win

Uhm… I do not own a park large enough to give either of them a species-appropriate home. Nor could I afford their species-appropriate food (as in meat, meat and more meat). I share my home with a cat. That is all right for me. Also, the cat will most probably never try to eat me.
