Hospital X-rays are produced from a high potential stream of electrons hitting an anode in an x-ray tube. Sharp x-ray imaging require the radiation to come from a small point so images produced with radiation gamma ray decay would not be as useful.
Nuclear medicine does use a number of radioactive materials though.
As someone else said, eat a banana. The smoke alarms in your house are radioactive too. Lots of things are radioactive, it just refers to molecules that are decaying naturally.
their is radiation all around us, it gets through the atmosphere from stars, it is found in radioactive elements in our soil and so on.
are you doing a project for school? You are asking for a lot of information on highly active and dangerous material.
go near a nuclear power plant, or a dump zone , better yet pray your abducted by aliens , radiation is a sure
Ah. Gotcha, good luck! I don't know if you'd be able to actually get your hands on any of the material.
yes and i just want to know how i could its part of a project on nuclear radiation exposure.
Grab a banana! All bananas have a very low dose of radioactive pottasium within them :)
Get an x-ray...why, exactly do you need to know?
usually at a hospital
lol...spoilsport.
