Can people really "sense" things?

Sometimes I’ll get a weird feeling just totally out of the blue, and then later I’l find out something bad happened when I got or had that feeling. Or I’ll become upset over nothing or become more upset over something that I normally wouldn’t. I’ve had pains when my best friend was in labor (not knowing she was in labor at that time either), and chest pains when my grandpa was having acid reflex issues. I saw someone I knew between classes and had and had a strong urge to stop and go outside (he was standing just outside the door, back facing the door so I could see him but he couldn’t see me.) I wasn’t sure if it was him and I really needed to use the bathroom before class so I didn’t. Found out later it was indeed him and he was getting the news that his dog had died. Yeah, I should have stopped. Just a bunch of odd little stuff like that. Makes me wonder if people can really “sense” stuff like that without knowing what’s going on.

I believe people can sense things. Maybe not all things, but some things. My mom has a reoccurring dream that she only dreams about when something bad has happened in the family. After she has that dream, she’ll call her sister up and sure enough, something happened.

It’s more likely that you only notice that you’re “sensing” things, when you’re linking them to an event. You get a chest pain and nothing happens, you don’t notice that. Either that or you’ve started looking for things when you think you had a sign. Chest pains? Something has to have gone wrong. It’s a million times easier to find something wrong when you’re looking for it.

Answer #3

I most definitely believe people can sense things. For instance, when you are sitting in somewhere in public (be it alone or with others) and you feel someone is looking at you and you turn in the exact direction to see someone staring at you. Its a minor “sense” but none the less a sense. I personally have de javu all the time due to dreams and find that that some exact moments in my life have happened before in said dream. I think all people are spiritually able to sense things and what not but some refuse or just ignore those senses so it seems unnatural to believe in senses now. Trusting your inuition or “sense” is the best piece of advice I can give you. If you have sensed that something is about to go amiss or very well then try to trust it and find the best resolution ahead of time :)

everything you said has happened to me too! thats just crazy :*)

Answer #5

Hahahaha Well then like me you are probably very intune with your inuition and spirituality ^-^

We all “sense things”…Don’t dance around the subject. You seem to be an Empath. I think we all have some idea of what’s happening. There’s no question about it. Some of us are straight-up psychically active in some way. Humans are evolving, that includes starting to actively use more than the contemporary 10-15% of our total brain mass. Our bodies (except an eventual extra finger on each hand) are done evolving physically. Now we just have to flesh out this enormous cranium we all carry upon our shoulders. Look at our current physical world, with its nanotechnology and advanced quantum mechanics and super-efficient data transmission and storage… All these (and alot more) technological marvels came from the lower 10-15% of our brains. There’s a whole (+/-) 90% of our mental potential that is still developing, on a scale of world population. I don’t mean to boast when I say that I personally, as well as my parents, have both experienced a few “premonitions” in our lives. I guess I mean to convey that this the very beginning of a new age of deductive reasoning and exponential increase of human collective intelligence. We are all participating (whether you consciously recognize it or not) in this brain revolution! Politics doesn’t matter much. The next scientific renaissance cannot be stopped, only delayed in the mire of administration and bureaucracy.

may be…

Answer #8

Very profound.

Answer #9

Nah, I notice when I have chest pains even when nothing else happens. Acid reflex is a bitch. lol. Just that time I had no reason for it. I have a strong relationship with my grandpa. Just thought it was strange that out of no where I got madly intense chest pains-stronger than I get when I have a reason to have them-at the exact time that his started.

Answer #10

Yes I believe it, based on my own expierences of people, places, and things I would have no other way of knowing or reason to sense. I’ve also had flash imaging of events before they happened. But I’ve had those experiences since early childhood. And I can discern when it’s my imagination and when it’s not. I come from both sides of my family claiming the same ability and belief in ESP. It isn’t something I can will or control in any way. Twins are known for living great distances yet in an almost an identical instant relate to an event only one is expierencing. I tend to agree with Devin that there is far more between brain and energies science has not scratched the surface of that although unproven IS.

Answer #11

I beleive people can sense things, I have done that before, I beleive Everything has an energy and that energies can be distorted by negative/posative energy, e.g a person with a bad energy going into the room and you feel a cloud of negativity

Answer #12

yes they can

Answer #13

Our creators made us (from Homo Sapiens DNA, spliced and bred with their own genetic sequence, eventually creating “us” Homo Sapiens Sapiens) with an incomplete gene sequence, to keep us subservient and inferior on the universal scale. Evolution seems to be steadily “filling the gaps” in our intentionally incomplete genome. We are awakening!

Answer #14

They realized they couldn’t control their “human” slave creation and actually left our fate to be determined by the deluge. We survived, and so they trapped us on our planet by denying us the knowledge and capacity to engage in effective/efficient space travel. We are about to surpass the restraints imposed upon us by our celestial ancestors, our “gods” of the old world.

yes
