Why do people ask me where I'm from in the stores or in the coffee truck?

I dont know why, but people ask me where im from when i ask for something in the store, 7 eleven or the coffe truck, it feels weird im not going to tell a big story to somebody in the coffee truck lol. What do you think? tell me please thank you.

They probably never really see you around or do and just curious if you live in the area. I get people asking me that whenever I go to wawa or shoprite lol

Well, just based on the way you type, you tend to sound a little exotic. Perhaps you have an interesting accent that they simply can’t place?

yeah maybe is that, but the funny thing is that the people who asked me that have a strong indian or jamaican accent just saying lol.
