superstition. people used to believe that witches turned into black cats and that evolved into the belief that a black cat was a witches familiar, which was a guardian spirit
I find it funny cause each time people see my cat they get like freaked out. lol
they believe it brings badluck
Some people are really into superstitions. I am but I’m okay with black cats. I do things like throw salt over my shoulder when it spills and I don’t pick up coins when the tails side is up. (yes, I realize I am weird! :-) Black cats supposedly are bad luck. My family rescued a black cat and she was one of our best cats.
Because of bad luck, and their scary sometimes
People are superstitious.
I had the sweetest black cat names max… He slept by my pillow every night.. He would sometimes let one rip though lol. Woke up gagging lol. He just looks at me like “what” haha. I dont no why people are so superstitious.. A cat is a cat lol
i have a 3 day old kitten i don’t see anything scary with him/her just because a cat is black doesn’t mean it brings bad luck i think it was just a myth back in the whitch trails but it seems like they just like to accuse people of being whiches cuz they owned a black cat but thats just me
