Do you know why they won’t turn it on? Maybe they don’t want to waste money or something. There are other ways to cool yourself down, open a window, turn off the lights, turn on a fan, take a cool shower. Leave your door open and don’t sleep with blankets at night if it’s making you hot. If they won’t turn it on, they probably won’t for a good reason and they probably won’t change their minds so there’s no use trying to get them to. Just do something else to cool yourself down instead.

Is there a reason they won’t turn on the air conditioner? Did you ask?

Also, I doubt it is because your mother “doesn’t care”.

OMG I know all about this. My mom hates the feeling of air condition, she loves the heat and sweating. The rest of us NOT soo much. So now we all have our indivual air conditioners in our bedrooms. Which still kinda sucks cause I don’t wanna always have to be in my room… but it’s something

Answer #4

yup they wanna save money -_- but it unbarable! and i dont have a fan in my room, and when i open my windows its even hotter :(

Answer #5

pass out like you got heat stroke lmfao or see if you can have em turn it on for a short period. or just go to walmart and buy a fan, they work wonders and they’re cheap :]

Answer #6

Air conditioning sucks up a lot of electricity … just think about how much that will affect your parent’s electric bill. If you really want it on, offer to help pay the bill and maybe they’ll agree … however, people have been staying alive for thousands of years without air conditioning - you can survive this.
