How do you know how old your original Schwinn bike is?

I have a really old schwinn bike in my back room. I dont know how old it is for sure. Everything on it is original the seat the paint the horn the basket the loading rake and even the tires. I have 2 things to ask How can i tell how old my bike is? And how much do you think it is worth?

Schwinn made many bikes over many years. Old Varsities and Continentals are very common and are not worth much today. Cruisers (26” balloon tire single speed or occasionally 2 speed kickback shifting) in good shape with original parts can fetch hundreds of dollars while a nice Stringray Krates bike can fetch over a $thousand. Schwinn Paramounts are collectable and more or less valuable depending on age, condition, and how many original parts remain, $700-$1,000 is the usual range for a good condition Paramount..
