What is your opinion on Christmas?

Answer #1

I personally love the smell and energy of christmas, I dont care about the presents. I just love the smell of cinnamon, ginger bread, and cold crisp air. I love all the lights, I love the uplifted spirits many people have, it is fully my favorite holiday :)

Answer #2

I love it. I love the snow and the lights and the cold and the spirit. There’s just this energy that people get around Chistmas. It’s beautiful- definitely my favorite holiday. Too bad I’ll be spending it alone this year xD

Answer #3

Hate it . Had the worst experience on christmas . I dont like thinking about it . I just hate Christmas because it brings bad memories . I also think it has been extremly commercialized . It’s no longer about having family together to celebrate the birth of Jesus . It’s about getting stuff , and how much money the stores can make . I personally like just being with family BUT now id rather sit alone next christmas because I’m scared my experience will start all over again , since I know I was the cause of it .

Answer #9

I love Christmas, my family isn’t religious but my mom and I especially love the atmosphere. It’s what I look forward to when winter comes around. Christmas lets you think of warmth and light in winter instead of shorter days and freezing weather. The charm of this holiday makes the unbearable parts of winter completely bearable. At Christmas we bake, drive around town just to look at the lights, go sledding, and decorate trees. It is, as they say, a magical time of year -no matter how cliche it sounds. Some of my best memories are of Christmas, and it probably is one of my favorite holidays, and the only reason being how it brings everyone together.

Answer #10

LOL summery christmas. i was to experience at least one winter christmas in my life.

Answer #11

I love Christmas! Everyone can enjoy it not only religious people. Most families are busy all the time so it’s wonderful for family gatherings!

Answer #12

Answer #13

Answer #14

Answer #15

I love Christmas, it’s such a magical time. It’s def a romantic time to have a significant other. Seeing couples holding hands and keeping eachother warm and ice skating together. I could care less about getting presents. I love shopping for other people and wrapping the gifts!! & making each gift pretty with bows and bags. I love seeing people’s faces when they open my gifts. & this year I have a new nephew, and I’m his god-mother, it will be very exciting this year. The snow makes it so beautiful outside and seeing the christmas lights just brings a smile to my face. I love snuggling in my blankets and watching the snow fall. I love the night time, when it’s light outside from the snow. Just everything about the season and christmas!!!!!!!!!

Answer #16

Heh, I never really celebrated Christmas, my parents put up a tree but that’s pretty much it. It seems like a fun holiday and I like how cheery it is, I just never really partook.

Answer #17

I love the Holiday, despise the music,,, It sends a shiver down my spine every time I hear Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

Answer #18

I love it (‘: greatest time of the year, the spirits are high and the people are happy.

Answer #19

Christmas really isn’t a Christian holiday. The only thing Christian about Christmas is the name. Nearly all of our traditions come from Saturnalia, Sol Invictus and Yule. Even the date is pagan. While Jesus obviously wasn’t born on Dec 25 several Pagan hero/saviors were. Christians basically hijacked a good pagan holiday.

Answer #20

I used to be all about the presents, it wasn’t until the last few years it has been more important to see my family than the presents. I love the food too - we pretty much eat the same thing for Christmas as we do for Thanksgiving, and that’s some of my favorite food :D.

Answer #21

I don’t celebrate Christmas due to my different religious beliefs but I did spend Christmas once at my auntie’s house (she’s an Atheist) and it was different from what we celebrate in my culture. It was really fun because it was all new to me. It was definately an experience.

Answer #22

yup.. 30th. Like a few wee hours before new year’s eve. And everyone seems to simply greet me a belated merry christmas, totally forgetting my birthday. :(

Answer #23

Oh that sucks. sorry :(

Answer #24

It’s horrible. I love that you get to see people and everyone is in a good mood. I really can’t stand large family get-togethers though, and Christmas dinners are always the worst. And I don’t get to see most of my friends over the holidays which sucks.

Answer #25
