Nonexistent Fahrenheit

What if there was no such thing as temperature?

Answer #1

Temperature is just a measurement we take that is a property of the junk around us. It is actually the measure of the average kinetic energy of the particles in the materials we take a temperature of (usually air). Since particles always have at least some movement, they always have at least some kinetic energy and therefore temperature will always exist.

Answer #2

Why would we call it anything if it doesn’t exist???

Answer #3

We’d have another name for it. “temperature” is just a generally accepted term society uses to define climate. We’d probably call it “gobbly-goop” or something.

Answer #4

That’s what I wanted to hear. Thank you so much!

Answer #5

…we’d probably still think that ICE is a magic rock.

Answer #6

You still be an idiot, asking dumb questions

Answer #7

We wouldn’t… since WE wouldn’t exist either…

Answer #8

Ohh I thought you meant that the word temperature didn’t exist. If there was no temperature/climate, we’d still probably come up with a name for the lack of it. Or we just would not know the difference.
