mArk Twain once said:

I once saw a cat that finally resisted temptation… then again, I can’t recall if it was a cat at all”

Point is, get some serious (interactice) play toys with a long string and feathers. She will not resist. I’ve had cats for the last 19 years. None have resisted an interactive toy. Call her by name all the time. make sure you do not harrass her and force her. and yes, she is getting used to all the noise, all the scents, and your schedule. She will be fine.

Answer #4

she will warm up most cats hide at first. feed her to warm her up to you. show her her litterbox and start calling her by name immeditalety. good luck and congrats!!

Answer #5

It’s completely normal for her to hide for the first little while, it’s because it’s a new environment. As she’s been there a bit longer she’ll start coming out more and more. Go play with her for a little while then leave her be, make sure people aren’t bothering her for the first little while because it’s best she gets used to it on her own pace and not being forced. You can bond with her by playing with her, giving her treats, taking her food/water, petting her, etc.

Answer #6

Leave her be, she’ll come out when she’s hungry or when she wants some affection. It might take a while. My idiot of a cat wouldnt quit hiding for 2 years… some cats are just more skittish than others.

Answer #7

you can get her use to you by just sitting next to her. wherever she is and dont have any eye contact… put food in your hands and allow her to eat out of your hand ( no eye contact ) while she’s eating give her a little petting, then walk away… play with her using toys… no eye contact is very important ( if you look them in the eye you can actually scare them..if they are not know you)

Answer #8

she will come out most likely when you are sleeping, she will learn her new suroundings and before you know it she will be part of the family
