My grades

okay so I transferred from a community college last year to a four year university. I went to a dual credit high school, and ended up graduating with a pretty horrible cumulative g.p.a This semester I was told I would be able to graduate in 2 years. However, I just got my grades for this semester and my g.p.a totals to a 3.2- my cumulative is still low, like in the 2.0’s. I want to go to law school after I complete my bachelors. I need to know what else I should do to ensure my chances of getting into a decent law school and/or masters program any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi there,

Well, GPA is not the only thing they look at, although you should aim for at least a 3.0. While getting the grades up, join an extra-curricular activity or sport. If you can have a leadership role in something, that gives an extra bonus. I’m convinced that being the editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper gave me the push to get into a good college.
