What can I give my dog for a fever?

what can I give my dog for a temperature

Answer #1

a lot of water!!! and they will give you aspirin and some pink medicine for your dog! Your dog wouldn’t like the pink medicine so you will have to hold him/her down. Some Vets say that you can give dogs children aspirin but I would call the Vet first.

Answer #5

Hi,

You can give your dog children’s aspirin. The does is 5mg/lb, every 12 hrs. So if your dog weighs 20lbs, that’s 100mg of aspirin.

Also, the dog’s normal temperature is 102 degrees. Which is a fever for humans, but not dogs.

Call the vet ASAP!

my dog has gone to the bathroom a lot for 2 days. He also seems to be warm or clamy. I was gone for 1 week on vacation and my mother watched him. He seemed fine, but now that we are home he doesn’t feel well. He is a Yorkie and is very attached to us also. Jan
