How do I repot a money tree?

i have purchased a small money tree plant that needs to be repotted in a 6” pot, what do I need and how do I do the potting.

Hi,

You should make sure that your new pot is 1-2’’ larger than the old one. Also, make sure that there are holes on the bottom of the pot for it to drain excess water. Growing plants in pots with no drainage is a dangerous thing, causing root rot and death almost immediately.

The type of material the pot is made out of makes little difference.
