Moms and teens.

How come parents are so persistant on making sure their kids dont kiss a guy or hold hands or be alone with them for a few seconds. And if you do say you kissed a guy they flip out and genuinely are pissed. Whats the deal? My mom did that when I was younger and wondering why.

For me, just kissing somebody scares me because of all the diseases that are out there in the world today… Its known that more teenagers are catching STD’s faster by just kissing, and they are kissing people that they know. I think your mom is just being very protective of you.. but for you I would say get to know that special person and when I say get to know them I mean know everything from who they hang with to how they handle their personal hygiene. YOU want to know them so well b 4 the 2 of you decide to swop spit and touch each others tonsils … but thats my opinion

well because the number of teen pregnancy is high and the # of tenns having sex is high so she is probably worried about u. Even if thats something you wouldn’d do your mom is probably worried about u

That’s quite the generalization - not all parents are like that.

My parents gave me just enough freedom, and I allow my teens that freedom as well.

Because kids are having sex these days, and that’s beyond scary for a parent. They don’t want their teenagers focusing on sex and relationships while they are still kids. Look at all the child parents these days, it’s sad and parents are doing anything they can to prevent it from happening.

KIDS are getting pregnant KIDS are getting STD’s… it all started somewhere!

thats y u have to speak to them be there friend u may think there kids but to them they r growing sex is part of life and telling a kid should not have sex there just going to hate u more
