How do you ask your mom for birth control if you are almost 100% sure she's gonna flip out on you?

Answer #1

I just ask and see what kind of response i get

Answer #2

well thanks, but honestly i dont think i can ask her . lol Its just something that would cause drama thats not needed .

Answer #3

I always try too make sure, am up front and honest, a lot of the time it is just shock, if you are honest with your folks than they will understand why and it wont make them upset, Or you could just be really sweet for a few days work up some brownie points and than pop the question.

Answer #4

Try to catch her in a really happy mood, always works for me! What is it anyways? If you don’t mind saying

Answer #5

Answer #6

Oh god , well . . its birth control . Thats why i put in ( BC ) i didnt wanna spell it out .

Answer #7

Oh well you may need a bit more than that catching her in a “good mood” thing lol. Kk if you’re gonna go about this, make sure she is in the state of mind where she is susceptible to conversation, rather than when she’s in those moments where she’s ready to pick a fight (you know what I’m talking about). Because you don’t want her getting the sense that its a debate or an arguement. Thats usually when she’ll lose it and make it impossible to talk. Approach this in a mature manner, talk to her like an adult, be calm but firm. If you feel that you are mature enough for this, the key is to get her to believe it, so first KNOW THAT ARE ready. Therefore when you are confronting her it will feel like you’re just speaking from the heart and being truthful rather than trying to convince her, making it a struggle for yourself(It will make it that much easier) Show her that you fully understand the risks. Don’t be to blunt about it but, just try to make her see that there really isn’t anything she can do to stop you, if you want to do it. And that she realize and respect the fact that you coming to her is a sign that you are mature enough.. Good luck. And please be careful, like I said theres nothing anyone can do to stop you but think ahead and be smart.

Answer #8

Ask her through text. xD

Answer #9

If you are 17 for real then just wait till you turn 18 and you can get your own prescription from your OB/Gyn or regular doctor and buy them yourself. :)
