What are the chances for getting a modeling job?

My friend Andrea wants to get into the modeling industry, walking for Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Versace, all the major names. She asked if I wanted to like go along with her and we’d study the fashion industry together. We’re both about 5’5” -5’6” but I dont think that will cut it. Oh yea I forgot to say we’re 14. and trying to do as much as possible now, because I heard its like ages 15-22 bout. What are our chances for even booking a job with small town designers or even brand names like abercrombie&Fitch? I know that there’s all kinds of work like portfolios, agents, every waking moment surrounding yourself in fashion. so yep I wanted to know our chances, and anything else related I guess.

well, remember your only 14!

im 5’10’’ and beleive me, I didnt get ilke that overnight when I was 14…

you will keep growing into your early twenties :)

haha thanks. start small, and we wont get our hopes up for the international modeling yet. and sucks sometimes when you want to be taller I guess. we’ll keep trying though, thanks

for one, you need to grow a little more lolll

usually, they like only 5’9’’ and above…

and then you need to make a portfolio because if you walk into an agency without one they will laugh in your face…

try going for smaller modeling places first…like your hometown..

honestly, there is a very small chance you will make it to the international level..but I wouldnt let that give up your hopes :)

(ps-when your 18 you can try out for americas next top model lol…their application is online)
