Maple tree

How close to my house can I plant a maple tree?

Answer #1

There are lots of different types of maples… if it’s a Japanese Maple for example, it can be as close as 3 feet away. If it’s a Norway Maple, the roots usually need to grow out about 20-30 feet around. It won’t mess up the foundation like a Weeping Willow though - but the tree will suffer.

Answer #2

You shouldnt plant it too close tho. Because eventually when it grows and gets big it will really mess up the foundation of the house with its roots.

Answer #3
