Is mango healthy when it says 20% juice?

Answer #1

Umm its ok, to get best results it better to get 100% juice, it has more natural sugars instead of added sugars

Answer #2

Im not entirely sure what you mean? Are you talking about a mango drink that is 20% actual fruit? If so, its probably not that much healthier to get drink thats 100% fruit juice - fruit juice is full of sugar, and it makes no difference whether its naturally occuring sugar or added sugar - sugar is sugar. Actual fruit juice is healthier in that it will have more vitamins etc from the fruit. But the healthiest thing is to eat fresh mangos as they are, or puree them.

Answer #3

i have the gallon (mango drinks) and it only says 20% juice not fruit juice..i was wondering if its unhealthy cuz it tastes so sweet?

Answer #4

Even if this contained 1% real juice, it would still be considered healthy compared to anything without real juice. Mangoes in general are healthy in increasing tryptophan (precursor to serotonin “happy hormone” and melatonin “the sleep hormone”) as well as provide Niacin or Vitamin B3 which helps keep the skin and digestive system healthy.

Answer #5

It just means that its mostly water and sugar, its healthier than soft drinks but it’s not as healthy as something with a higher amount of real juice would be.
