Answer #4

They are 45 and a male, its just his demenore, I want him to chill out and not be so uptight and agressive, not physically agressive

Answer #5

maybe have him go to talk to a professional if its not a problem i do find both alcohol or marijuana very helpful for stressful stuff in my life sometimes life just likes to kick us in the ass once in a while. he also might be having one of those mid life crisis.. idk.just some thoughts and ideas

Answer #6

Having them speak to an anger management professional would go a long way towards resolving

Answer #7

You can’t “make” someone stop giving instructions or be more responsive to your instructions. The fact that both of you want to give instructions and want the other person to accept them suggests to me that maybe the problem is not so much that he is too aggressive, but rather that the two of you are in an ongoing power struggle between you. Does that sound right to you? If so, and if he agrees, couples therapy could be very helpful (if you can find the right therapist).

Answer #8

Not a power struggle just wanna switch roles, I’m very submissive and am hardly ever the dominant one. But I agree with your solution

Answer #9

You can’t make anyone change their behavior unless they are willing to change it for reasons they decide for themselves. If they see their behavior as a problem and are willing to acknowledge they need help and are willing then they might consider outside recommendations …It’s pretty much useless otherwise.
