I’ve never tried shrooms, but I want to and I’ve researched a little about them. Shrooms are a pretty misunderstood substance that have been proven to have positive effects on both medicinal research and human spirituality.

Anyways, to answer your question, no. There is a period after coming down where you can get nauseous and have a headache, sorta like a shroom hangover. Also, it is possible, though rare, to have flashbacks up to three weeks after tripping, and the more shroomin’ you do over your lifetime, the flashbacks can be more frequent. Most people, if they have them, don’t report them being a problem. Doing shrooms can trigger or intensify any mental problems like depression, anxiety or paranoia, if such disorders are a problem for you while not tripping. Also, no urine or blood drug test can detect psilocybin after a week, and there should be no lasting negative effects. In fact, a study published in Discover magazine said that doing shrooms can actually boost mental health and have positive effects on mental well being for months after. So, I guess keep on shroomin’!!

yes from reading your question I would say that there is a very good chance you damaged your brain.

I agree with melstad, but I will be a little more tactful.
