Loving My Best Friend

I know this is long but…Okay, one of my closest friends ever and me really like eachother and so we were in a relationship and we were planning to officially date that summer and everything was going fine. He absolutely loved me- he told me all the time, complimented me all the time, and bought me lots of stuff. But the problem was that he was changing and getting all of these weird beliefs that he would talk about constantly and me and my parents are strong Christians so I knew I wouldn’t be able to date someone who wasn’t a christian. He was also doing other little things that annoyed me so I got fed up and told my parents everything. They told me to break off the relationship so I did. And we are still friends but I cry all the time and my friends tell me it’s hard on him too. Its killing me! I have so many classes with him and I see him all the time! I like him so much, what should I do?

Yeah, but isnt it true that if two people don’t agree a relationship will never work?

Go back to him, your parents can’t control who you’re going to be with in the future. You have to live your own life. If you miss and like him a lot, tell him. He probably feels the same.

shannahgurl— me and my grandmother fight all the time. but if she needed me, I’d always be there in a heartbeat. I’d die for her. fighting can make or break a relationship. if you really love that person, you will do everything in your power to be with them and…you know…all that goody relationship stuff.

go ahead and give it another go. you may find out that you didn’t like each other as much as you did before, or you two may be more in love than ever.
