Lighter Hair Color?

I have naturally light blonde hair, but when I was a child, it was even lighter (as is normal, from what I’ve heard). I would really love to go back to that, but I can’t find anything to use to lighten it myself. I’ve looked in several stores, and none of their dyes are light enough, and I’ve heard that straight on bleaching it is bad for your hair. What can I do?

Anything to make your hair lighter involves bleaching of one kind or another. (Even ‘natural’ remedies like lemon juice work because of the chemicals involved.)

Look for a hair coloring product with a name like ‘pale ash blonde’ - that should do the trick. (‘Champagne blonde’ is usually more yelow-y.) And DO use conditioner whenever you shampoo.

Answer #2

It is hard to get a really blonde look without bleaching that you you are looking for from what you are saying I would suggest going as light as you can without bleaching and let it sit a little longer then normal.
