Letter to ex

Ok so I decided im going to drop off some pictures, old letters, and a few of my ex’s personal belongings at his front door step. We were first loves and we remained friends after we broke up but I was tired of hearing that I was cheated on by his ex so I decided to cut them both out of my life for the past year.. He has repeatedly tried to contact me and I know that he is still in love with me, but I am in a happy relationship now and I don’t want anything to do w/ my ex. When I drop off the box how should I write my letter. I want it to be short and sweet so he knows I dont even want to be friends. Im just giving him the benefit of the doubt, he might want to keep some pictures for memories

You shouldnt feel like you have to return anything! Why would you want him to have his letters that he wrote to you, and pictures back…so he can keep obsessing over you? If you want him out of your life for good, then just burn everything! Cut ALL ties with him. I dont even acknowledge my ex anymore…even when I see him!

Answer #2

When you are truly over him, you will wish him the best.

Answer #3

This is a good idea; especially with keeping it short and sweet. Tell him that he may still have feelings for you but you have cut him out of your life and that will not change. DO NOT give reasons. He will try and come back with explanations. Tell him that you are in a very happy, healthy relationship with someone else and wish him the best for his life (without you). Hope this helps.

either way your friendships going to be over…and why do you want to return those things it like your asking to go see him, iam prettty sure his not going to be happy if you drop those off at his house cause one. his going to know its really over and two. why would you want to hurt him more if he’s already hurting…also as long as he’s not stalking you or something, dont worry about him contacting you.
