I was going to buy hot cakes with this coupon discount, for 1.50 and when i showed him the coupon the guy toldme that the cash register wasnt set up yet, with the offer, but the right thing to do would be to set up the cash register first and then put the coupons in the newspaper. I think they are cheaters. What do you think? Tell me please thank you.
Letting the Manager know of your disatisfaction would likely net you a free meal as filletofspam posted. But since it's too late, you could contact McDonalds HQ and pose your complaint too. I agree with filletofspam...business looks at it being cheaper then loosing a customer.
The coupons were for any and EVERY McDonalds, it's not that specific store putting coupons in the newspaper. It's not their fault and it's really not that big of a deal, you could easily rack up that much money by going through your car. If it bothers you so much, don't go back.
It was $1.50 chill out, jesus. People make big deals out of such stupid crap and this is a perfect example of that. If you want 5 star service McDonald's is obviously not the place to go. Fast food restaurants aren't known for their customer service. Get over it.
It may have been an innocent mistake...ex: corporate published the coupons and the register/computer wasn't ready to automatically deduct yet......sometimes the timing of these things is off...
When I worked at KFC whenever someone wasn't happy we comped their meal. In the long run this is cheaper than loosing a customer.
Uh yes! That sucks you should have talked to a manager, that's false advertising!
I would have complained and gotten two for free xD
