When do kittens open their eyes

Answer #1

Shorthair kittens begin to open their eyes at 5-8 days Longhair kittens do not open their eyes until 10-14 days

Answer #2

It’s usually between 10 and 14 days.

DSH (Domestic Shorthair) and DLH (Domestic Longhair) don’t have any difference in time when they open their eyes. For any domesticated cat, it’s between a week and a half to two weeks.
