Political correctness is not always a punch line to a joke. It's origin was the idea that when representing an institution that you should use the least offensive terms to refer to groups. When I worked for the State of Texas spokesperson was listed in my job description. I also had documents listing offensive and non-offensive terms to refer to groups. When I spoke officially for my employer my speech had to conform to their standards. When I am off the clock I can say anything I want. Saying all of that I can join in "PC" humor as well as anyone else. How would you say your retort using only PC terms? How about, "perform anilingus on me you cognitively challenged person of unknown lineage."
The Pope usually just says " Kiss my Ring ".
