Which is better - keeping ketchup in the fridge or in the cupboard?

Is it possible after opening it I can leave it in the cupboard?

I leave mine in the cupboard.

My family keeps ours in the fridge when it’s opened, which is what I’m used to. I know people who keep it in a cupboard, though. I don’t think it really matters.

What is ketchup, please? I’ve never hears this term before.

You can, but I don’t see why you would wanna do that. It won’t stay as ‘fresh’.

Yes, we call it Tomato Sauce here in Australia and it is best kept in the refridgerator after it has been opened.

I keep mine after its been opened in the fridge, but my friend has always kept his on the counter and it never spoils.

In the cupboard! It doesnt matter if its been opened, ketchup wont go bad. Who likes cold ketchup?!! (Mcdonalds and many other fast food chains dont refrigerate ketchup.)
