Well, your kidney will not hurt if you’re getting a cold. However, you may have a kidney infection AND a cold. The best thing to do is to see your doctor, because if you have a kidney infection, you don’t want to let it go, because they can be extremely painful. I have been hospitalized on several occasions in my life due to kidney and urinary tract infections because I didn’t see the doctor early on. You will need to be put on antibiotics. Also, there was a time when I had pain that I thought was my kidney hurting and it turned out to be a cyst on my ovary. They aren’t serious, and they come and go throughout the course of a woman’s life, but you should still see your doctor.

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice (not cocktail… JUICE).

Answer #3

Whatever the problem (or not), your kidneys can only benefit from the treatments outlined below… If it’s an infection, then cranberry juice is not advisable because it contains sugar or aspartamine. Cranberry capsules are available over the internet, wholefood shops and some supermarkets. Avoid all sugars till you feel better- this includes honey, maple syrup, cakes… There are so many herbs which are very succesfull at killing bacterial infections of the urinary tract and bladder- do some googling on the subject. Dab a LITTLE tea tree oil onto your finger and apply it to the opening of your urethra after you have peed and washed with WATER. Lemon juice could be used till you get some tea tree oil. Here’s something else that could be causing the problem- the treatment will be good for you even if this is not what’s causing your pain. We build up lots of little stones in our kidneys throughout our lives. Sometimes these become a problem. A doctor will advise surgery or laser treatment- totally absurd when theres such a natural and easy way to deal with it- LEMON JUICE breaks up the stones so that they can come out. Drink the juice of a whole lemon, perhaps in a little hot water, for a couple of bedtimes. If you eat fat, meat or fish, as most of us do, eat a wedge of lemon with it- this should prevent any further build up of stones.
