Is a week long enough?

okay so me and my ex loved each other sooo much; he loved me so much and I believed him everytime he told me. He told me many times he wanted to be together forever and marrry me and all that crap. Well we started to fight and ended up breaking it off, so a week later I find out he has a new girlfriend. I mean come on…a week after we break up? So I texted him about it and he told me that he didnt love me anymore and he takes back all he said to me. Well that was about 3 months ago, and now he texts me every once in a while telling me how his life sucks and he and his girlfriend are having trouble. Bascially what Im asking is, Is a week long enough to get over someone? Or does he still love me and is just acting like he doesnt? Its been three months and I still am having trouble getting over him, I don’t know how he did it in a week? Did he never even love me in the first place? What does it mean? Advice is greatly apprecitated ;]

p.s. I am going to see him in a week cause we both go to the same church, and I know he is going to try to flirt with me cause his girl isnt going to be around, and I dont want to let him do that. So I need to get this ironed out, I dont know what it all means. Please and thank youu.

At the time it may feel like love. Teenage is only a phase of life and as you grow, you will discover things and become wiser in the matter of love.

someone once told me…

“men are like microwaves..

women are like ovens…

Men take a short time heating up and a short time cooling off

But women take a long time to heat up and a long time to cool down!”

You’re welcome. You seem nice, don’t let a guy into your life who doesn’t treat you right. You deserve better. Good luck.

No. He had probably been talking to that girl while you were going out with him. And he broke things off with you, waited a little, and went out with her. He probably meant what he said. And now that him and her are having trouble, he’s running back to you because he doesn’t want to be alone. You’re basically his back up.

I know it sucks but I’m 95 % sure that’s exactly what he’s thinking. I went through the same thing. And when he tries to flirt with you, let him know you’re not going to play along with his little games anymore and if he really does want you back, he better start thinking up a plan to prove it.

Ugh. I hate guys .

Answer #5

I would say that he was playing you. Not to be mean but guys are pigs, well most of them. I would just tell him off and I know that it’s going to be hard but it is the best thing to do.
