Does anyone know some useful information/facts about holiday repping?

i’m really interested and think i might apply soon. but i’d like to really get to know about it first. i mean, i know the basics. but does people assess you and your abilities? will you have to share an apartment with someone? what’re the dis/advantages? if anyone HAS been a rep before, it’d be really helpful if you could give a detailed answer :D thanks!!

Hi,

Yes I have worked as a rep, it is a great experience and you will meet lots of people and the memories will stay with you forever.

You will have to share an apartment and you have to manage on about 4 hours sleep a night, basically your on the go all the time so its very demanding on the body.

You are asessed just like in any other job, your mainly assessed on your ability to sell excursions to the customers, if you cant sell they will get rid of you.

Its a great experience but also hard work.

Thanks. Do you still have to sell excursions to customers if you’re a childrens entertainer? Do they do different jobs or the same as the other reps? Because while i was in Turkey, the children entertainers never tried to sell anything to us.
