Do you think we have become "immune" to tradgedy in the news unless it effects us on a personal level?

So many bad things happen in the world almost on a daily basis and we hear about them all the time. Do we care anymore or we too engulfed in our own personal lives and situations that we’ve become “numb” to it all?

That’s a great question! Personally, I think that it’s become ‘normal’ and ‘expected’ in a way. So unless it really hits home, it doesn’t have that much of an impact. It shakes you up but not to the point where you’re crying the whole day kinda thing. Know what I mean? I wish that all this violence would stop. I wish that we could all get passed our differences and focus on the betterment of our future. Unfortunately it’s much easier said than done. Tragic.

Personally I choose not to watch the news in general because it does make me sad. But if everything bad that happened in the world effected me to a personal level i’d be depressed as hell to be honest. Yes stuff makes me sad or upset but really I move on with life and i’m not ashamed about that.
