Im losing my best friend

Im so sad… I have a best friend and her name is jenni and I’ve known her for 4yrs now and im so sad because she doesn’t seem to care about me anymore. I’ve moved from her and my old city about 2 years ago and I’ve tried my best to keep in touch but over the years it just seems like we’ve outgrown each other and it is breaking my heart. I dont want to let go of our friendship because its so hard too :( I need help because I dont know what to do…I’ve told her a billion times that our friendship has changed but she doesnt think anything has changed but IT HAS! I dont know what to do anymore!

I went through this exact same situation. I had 2 best friends we were like sisters one was for 10 years and the other one was for 6. I moved 45 minutes and both of them stopped talking to me after I tried so many times to keep our friendship the same. I know it is very hard to keep it going and for things not to change. If you both have free time I would hang out with her and have a conversation face to face and tell her how you feel and that you want to keep things the same and try your hardest to make things work. If she doesn’t want to try and make it work she’s really not a friend you need believe me I’ve been there. It will hurt for a long time but you will meet people that want to be there for you and have a strong friendship with. good luck and let me know if you need anything else.

I’ve lost a few friends to them moving away, haven’t talked to one since 5th grade. Just force yourself on her :)
