I was really stupid and forgot to take my pill please help

on friday saturday and sunday I didn’t take any of my pills because two of the days I was ill and thought that they would be ineffective and because I had been off my usual routine of taking the pill I must have forgot to take it on the sunday. I’ve been taking it normally since monday but on wednesday I had sex with my boyf. I thought I would have been protected but I have since been told by friends that my pill wont have worked until id taken it for 7 days after the three that I missed. I was in the middle of my second week of pills when I had sex and I’ve just taken the morning after pill today but I’ve been warned that it will be less effective… What are the chances of me being pregnant I’m 16 x

Hard to say but normally the EC pill is 70-85% effective in preventing pregnancy, so I would guess you are in that range. EC pills are basically an extra heavy dose of hormones, so expect to have a month or so of out of kilter periods. Call up your doctor and get his / her suggestion as to what you should do now to get back on your regular pill. If you are hesitant to call your doctor, call Planned Parenthood and talk to a nurse or doctor there. They get questions like this all the time. Good Luck!!
