I need help and advice...

ok I was really angry at my boyfriend when we broke up and I did something really stupid…I made my best friend the rebound…I feel really really bad and I don’t know what to do. I love him but im not in love with him… he’s my best friend and he’s liked me since 7th grade…and I took advantage of that and asked him out…and I don’t want to hurt him…but I also don’t want to be with him…I mean I can only dodge his kisses for so long…and im afraid that if we do kiss I won’t be able to see him as the best friend that he is…and if I tell him he’s the rebound then he’ll never want to talk to me again…please I really need help on this one…I feel like such a skank…please help.

Don’t tell him that he’s the rebound literally. Just tell him that you’ve done a mistake and that you’re not emotionally ready for another relationship so fast. Say that you need time to get over your old relationship.

just be honest with him but in the right way DON’T watever you do tell him his the rebound as that will hurt him more… I’ve been there, I’ve been out with my best friend and trust me it don’t work out

if you end it before it gets too late you can save a good friendship mine is still on the rocks and I aint been with him since March.. just explaine and if he is a true mate he’ll understand

                                good luck

haha poor guy, I dont think there is anyway you can avoid hurting his feelings, and he’ll probably stop talking to you for a while, because he will be hurt and wondering why u asked him out if you were just going to break up with him again straight away.

but as mentioned follow the above advice and as your friend he will get over it and be your usual old friend again in no time
