I have a question about a navel piercing..

ok I finally got my parents convinced to let me get a navel piercing. wooo! but one question.. I heard that there is something you can get before it that will numb the belly first. is this true? and im not talking about the clamp. its supposed to just be like a spray or something.

please just let me know! I am very curious (: thanks

yes you can get many different types of numbing things for a piercing, personally I had the numbing spray like you have mentioned but it wasnt optional. now a days they tend to put it on anyway wheter you want it or not because it acts as ia disinfectant to the piercing metal. my cousin does tatoos and piercings so I know a lot about the way these things work

ok thanks you guys! thats all I needed to know. im not gonna get the numbing. ill just go for it. my pain tolerance is really low. so im gonna be hurting a lot. but thats alright I guess, itll only be for a couple days. but thanks again (:

I have mine done and it didnt hurt at all, I got it done my eighth grade year, I am now twenty, just make sure you keep it clean, what I did was when I was watching to or a movie I would lay down with a shot of seasalt and hot water, and I would put it on my bellybutton without spilling it and just lay there it would keep it clean and help it heal nicely

and most people find the act of piercing doesnt hurt that much, it takes like 5 seconds, its the healing stage where it is sore.
