I hate the salon im working in.

okay im 15 years old, & going to be in year 11 when we go back to school. and in year10 we are allowed to go to college so I picked Hair appretiship and I go to college after school on wednesday, and when everybody go to college the next day I go to a salon to work (so its a bit scary working with adults).

but anyway so I’ve been at this salon for a year and its really busy and everybodys nice but im not actually friend friends with people I feel lonely, hopeless & unconfident and shy. I hate going there, I used to like going but now I litreally hate it and the people I got used to there have now started fall traing to theres loads of new people there so im going to lack even more confidence anyway one day I refused to go crying my eyes out and spoke to the college and they spoke to the salon but they said they really liked having me here so I went back. and now I just hate it. but anyway! in year10 you have to do work experince so I decided to go to a different salon for 2weeks and I loved it and they want me to work there on thursdays! and I learnt so much more there then I did at the other salon in 1year and I felt at home so if I rang up the college do you think they should actually let me change? if im feeling really uncomftable, lonely & I dont learn anything new at the slaon I go to but at the other salon I feel comftable, sociable, and I leart loads of new stuff? so do you think if I asked to change they should let me?

I think you need to work on your confidence and to get help with your shyness and anxiety. The hardest lesson you will learn growing up is to ask for help when you feel helpless. Remember, the college HAS to work with you, and if you feel more comfortable with the other salon, tell the school. You need to stand up for yourself, its not like your refusing to work, just not at that other salon.
