When I am perplexed about a choice or decision I get a pad of paper and put a big “T” right in the middle of it. On the right side above the “T” I put a + sign and on the left side I put a - sign. I list all of the positive things about it on the right side and all of the negative things on the left. When I am done it is usually obvious which way to decide.

Write down all things you would consider doing for a living. Then research the pro’s and con’s about each. THink about which would keep your household stable and healthy. THen make a choice that your comitment won’tstray from.

I was in the same situation but with no kids…I know you want the best for the family and I think the same way but my dad gave me advice that I will never forget…he makes a lot of money and he told me if he could give it up to do something he enjoyed he would do it in a second…as long as you can support your family and make them happy(and MOST important your happy) then do it…thinking back on it I would rather have my dad live a happy life than have a job that made us a lot of money. yeah you may not get the kids everything that they want but they know when your happy…trust me, you know what im talkin about

thats so funny, I am 18 and I have been on my own for 3 years, no kids though. I went to medical school and never did anything with it, now I am starting school to get an assoc. degree in criminal justice! lol. I want to be a corrections officer. but 23 is still young! I wouldnt stress about it. hello, your a mother! and I assume a good one, look around you at most 23 year olds. half are still living at home, living off their parents money not even giving a damn what they are going to do with there life. your doing good now.

dont worry, take your time. it is your career. if your having doubts now, that is a big sign.
