Ur on the right track with not calling 2day. The easiest solution 2 this problem is to let ur girlfriend have the most control over the time U 2 spend together. What I mean by this is to let her call U most of the time (but not all of the time bcuz then U seem uninterested), let her ask 2 see U most of the time (Again not all of the time), & whenever U feel like U r starting 2 annoy her bcuz U been around each other 2 much just tell her I need 2 run out for something or something just came up so U gotta run. I know this seems like lying but if U tell her that U think she is gettin sick of U then that’ll only start more problems { thats not a good look }. Plus U dont wanna put it in her head that she is gettin sick of U cuz then she probably will. As for the phone situation, like I said letting her call U is a good idea but here’s a few more. Try calling calling at only once but at different times of the day for example: Call her tomorrow in the morning just 2 say good morning or the next day just 2 say good night but the key is 2 not force a conversation. If after U say good morning/night the conversation kinda slowly grinds 2 a halt then tell her “Oh I didnt really want anything just wanted 2 say good morning/night so call me later/tomorrow whenever U get a chance”. This is a balancing act though bcuz U gotta know if this call could really hold a actual conversation. Another tool U can use is Texting & E-mails. These work but it allows U 2 to communicate at Ur own pace so if she feels she needs a break then she can take one.

Yeah girls really get annoyed at clingy guys becos they are always calling and always wanting to see you and you feel like you have no time for your friends, family or yourself. So just take a step back, your not going to lose her over it, just dont call as much, dont text as much and leave it up to her to make plans with you instead of you always making the plans.

I am very clingy to my girlfriend and I hate it. I am in highschool and I feel that I should wait for her to call me or text me, thats what highschool kids these days (except if we need a direct answer) then we call. I have tried to not be clingy or show my emotions but it’s just instincts, those need to change though. How can I occupy myself to not feel the complete urge to just have to talk to her? I care a lot about her and she seems to be getting annoyed with I can tell so I have been trying to seperate myself from the emotions and things like that but it never works. And another thing I am not entirely smooth over texting but in person it works. So if anyone could help with that, awesome, and I don’t need any bullshit answer from some retard so anyone that can help thanks.

Well I’m having the very same problem right now. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 10 months, and I love him very much. I know that he feels the same, if not more, about me. However, sometimes I don’t trust that as well as I should. I find myself calling over and over if he doesn’t answer. I get really upset about it, and end up breaking down into tears. Now that I’m typing this, it seems pretty ridiculous to get so upset over now answering the phone. The answer is simple, it just can become difficult when you are so used to being together all the time, and talking often. Let HIM/HER call YOU. This can be really difficult, but it starts working really well. Especially when they are used to you calling all the time. They will start thinking its odd not to be talking to you, and will want to call anyways. Let them make the plans to hangout. This can also be very hard, because I would honestly love being with him all the time. But you should know you have friends and family, and sometimes its good to just have “you time.” Just give him/her space. Back off a little bit. If you dont like that you havent really talked on the phone for a while, call just to say I Love You. But don’t make a big deal for it to be a long conversation. Its working for me so far, so give it a shot.
