Answer #1

Well its not that they dont trust you, well i guess kind of i think there afraid that your doing something wrong, not because you as a person just this generation is so messed up, dont take it too hard, just ask them for a little more privacy.

Answer #2

i have they said ‘no we have every right to invade your privacy except it’ :’(

Answer #3

Well i think because they care for you! it obviously feels bad being in a situation like this so you should politely tell them that you are not doing anything wrong and tell them that any time they feel like you are going out of hands or doing something wrong then they can check whatever they want!

P.S : Play safe, no one will be able to catch ya :P

Answer #4

Change your Facebook password so they can’t look

Answer #5

Your not the only one here who has no privacy for yourself. My mom always walks by and watches me post comments and asks “whose that?” when it’s someone I meet hours away from me but still we talk and she tells me to not talk to strangers. I don’t get privacy when she’s here with me, if I’m in my room with a boy, well shoot she’s nosey about what’ll happen cuz she’s always up my arse >.> So you’re not alone on this one, they don’t want to probably have you do some things that are bad or be like other girls who flaunt their style to be rather “spoiled” they are protective like any parent like that. Just don’t take it too hard, they’ll backdown one day.

Answer #6

Terrible idea, then they wont trust her.

Answer #7

our generation is not messed up. its just different from all the others.

Answer #8

It is very messed up come one really? kids having sex at 14? really thats not messed up and kerri the best thing to do is try to negotiate a wat that makes you AND your parents happy

Answer #9

They’re your parents, that’s their job. They have the right but what you can do is be sneaky about it. Delete your text messages, make your facebook account private, or just start sending letters. It sounds old fashioned but I doubt your parents will be interested in reading a missive. Whatever you need to do, to keep things private. You can tell your parents how you feel, see if they can come up with a compromise.

Answer #10

I’d have to agree with Rck …they best solution is to talk it out with your parents and see if you can find a middle of the road that works for both of you.

Answer #11

parents will be parentss. They are over protective n paraniod. Not to.annoy u but understand that they just care n.want the best for.u. Jus let them know that ur old enough n.u derserve some space.

Answer #12

Maybe, but if she changes he username, then her parents wouldn’t find her either.

Answer #13

Delete all messeges after sending them, change your username, password, and the e-mail address it’s connected to, and NEVER let your parents catch you using Facebook, also, add your friends reIitives as friends. I say this because, if they can’t find your Facebook and they never see you using one, then they will think you have deleted it. If they DO see you using one and question you, you could always say that you are simply logging into a friend’s account to play games or something. The reason you delete your messages is that your parents may doubt you and make you open your messages. Also, adding other people’s reletives not only help you get more connected to your friends, but it backs up the complete Lie that you are using someone else’s Facebook. As you can clearly see, I am not the most honest person, but this method DOES work.
