In new york is a wife responsible for her husbands credit card debts if she doesnt hold a card?

Check with an attorney, but yes, in NY, just as there are marital assests, there is marital debt. The two of you would be equally responsible. The credit card companies don’t care who pays, as long as they are paid back. Sheesh, whatever happened to the days when they’d just break your kneecaps??
It probably depends on the state you live in, but in California, my wife isn’t responsible for my credit cards & vice versa.
