How much does it hurt getting a tattoo?
Okay so I’m thinking of getting a tattoo… but just how much does it hurt? I have a rather high pain threshold but getting a shot still is PAINFUL >o< I was thinking of getting the tattoo on the left side of my neck 0w<’
Tattoos do hurt, but that is part of the experience. If you really want a tatto, then about half way through you start to “like” the pain is what I have found to be true. The pain isn’t unbearable by any means, It’s just something that you know will be over soon.
May I strongly suggest not getting it on your neck? Because you can’t cover it if you want. It’s unfortunate, but we live in a judgemental world. Certain employers may decline you the opportunity to work for them. When you work for a company, you represent that company and they are paying you to do so. Why not get it on your arm or somewhere that you can cover if you feel it’s necessary? Something you may want to think about.
Are you really really sure you want to get an anime tattoo and to have it in such a prominent place (even though that would be canon)? I love VK as well and I think it would be quite a cool design to have (I considered it myself a few months back!) however, I think you should take onemandog’s advice and choose a less prominent area for the tattoo unless you want to risk trouncing your chances for job opportunities. =]
