How can I stop my dog from marking inside?

My four year old poodle bichon cross has started marking everywhere in the home. I have tried various cleaners from pet stores and just about everything else. Does anyone have any ideas?

well take his/her nose and rub it in the spot where they mark and tap them in the butt they will stop sooner or later

I’m not good with pets myself, and it seems like a professional might be the best way to go. Is that an option for you, eg, consulting a local professional dog trainer who can help with the problem?

If that’s not an option, then consistancy, and praise for doing “right” and punishment for doing “wrong” will help, but if it takes a person 21 days for something to become habit, then my guess is that it’ll take a dog at least that long…which is a lot of time to get it right each instance of them marking inside, but it might be the only way to solve the problem.

Hope that helps, perhaps another member has more specific experience with this issue.
