How should I handle my betraying Bestfriend?
My best friend is dating this guy that I use to have a major crush on. And they went behind my back andd told me that they hated eachother. but then one day I say them kissing, and I asked them why didnt they tell me, they said that they didnt want to hurt me. which they did any way. A few days later they said sorry and her boyfriend was tlk to me. He called me stupid, Petty, Unimportant, and a bitch. When I told her what he said, she said I shouldnt be mad because he was speaking his mind! the more he says sorry the more he insults me. he even said that ill say anything to make my sorry life better! My friend is ending our friendship over a guy! should I be mad and leave our friendship to? should I fight for my bestfriend back? should I seek revenge? or should I just ignore this for the rest of my life and go on with out her?
well your best friend isnt trustworthy now…will she ever be? She not only went behind your back, but shes totally ok with her new boyfriend talking to you like that. Not ok. Decide if you can really be friends with that. If you cant, tell her that you have a problem not just with the sneakiness, but with her not having your back when her boyfriend insults you like that.
In the end its up to you, can you be friends with her? What does she offer you in the friendship that conquers the lying and backstabbing? But in my opinion, she didnt apologize and leave him and give you a heartwarming speech about hoes before bros, she said hey sorry ‘bout that. Let me flaunt this in your face while my boyfriend here insults you. Shes not just losing you, shes CHOOSING to lose you. It hurts, but I really think that that friendship is over. If you dont end it, it will be a very empty friendship.
